KNIPEX Tools - 2 Piece Cobra Pliers Set (87 01 180 & 87 01 250) (003120V01US), Red

I’m thoroughly impressed with the performance of this KNIPEX 2-piece pliers set. The 180mm and 250mm sizes cover most of my needs, and the adjustment mechanism is smooth and secure. They grip pipes and fittings tightly with no damage. Easily the best pliers I’ve ever owned.

I’ve attempted to use the generic brands and nothing else compares

Love this tool. I use it almost every day when I’m doing plumbing. The clamp down pressure on this wrench is incredibly.

Works great, well built

These are so superior to the traditional channel lock pliers (or slip jaw, or crescent wrench or channel lock, I’ve heard them called different things). These pliers adjust to a place and don’t change adjustment until you change it. Jaw grip is fantastic, handle feel is good, leverage is great, and the alignment per adjustment for the work is superior over the regular flat jaw. Buy these and you find yourself not using your traditional slip jaw pliers anymore.

I should have bought these when I was younger. I bought another set of two so he had them when he was younger. I also bought another set for my good 75 year old friend so he could open things with is debilitated hands.

For anyone who doesn't know or is not familiar with KNIPEX, these pliers are on another level when it comes to quality, adjustability, and overall durability. In this case you really do get what you pay for with this wonderfully engineered German engineering brand of tools. Unlike other competitor pliers like Channellock, which is a really good brand (never failed me before), the KNIPEX plier has far more positions you can place the pliers into. Making your life so much easier when completing jobs. I even purchased the giant KNIPEX XXL Cobra (23in) pliers to replace my XL 20in Channellock pliers, and although it cost me more than the XL Channellock did, it was completely worth it for larger jobs like water softeners, water heaters, pressure regulator valves, vehicle work, etc. . Needless to say I highly recommend KNIPEX to anyone looking for an extremely high quality set of pliers that will last your a lifetime.

I’ve heard of em. Put off getting them. The regret not just vesting I em sooner. Only note is now I gotta get another 10” as while the 7 1/4 will most def come in handy I know I’ll end up using two 10” more than 7 1/4 and 10.
