I have used other ones with plastic connectors and they last 4 months in the sun. These have lasted a year with no wear in site. Perfect for galvanized trough raised beds.

I ordered the five piece set. I only received four hoops.

They are great to hold up netting. I can size it by how many poles I use.

I don't even know what possible size the net on this could be for. I have a small raised garden. I took out as many of the sticks as possible to make it as low as possible and this thing doesn't even come close to getting all the way to the ground. There's no way it would prevent bugs. Even if I cut it into pieces. It's nowhere near big enough. I waited until now to set up my garden and it's too late to return it. I'm very annoyed.

They seem to be alright but they probably won’t hold longer term. I’ll make an update to this post after some time.Hopefully this helps people out with connection:It’s no secret these things don’t hold on their own with the connectors. To help with this, I used a wire cutter to crush the tip a bit. This will make it thicker and hold better with the connectors.Good luck!

Works well for any height you can make it work very sturdy.

It’s a little flimsy but not bad once you get the hang of them. I was able to fit 4 rows of poles in 3 of my garden beds before I ran out of poles so I’ll have to order more.

I've had these up for just under 2 months now on my 4'x4' raised garden bed and they're holding up just fine. I haven't faced any heavy wind yet, though. I've got enough poles leftover to make one more hoop, but there definitely isn't enough in the package for a "standard" 4'x8' bed. They work fine, but I'm moving on to a sturdier structure.
