Got it as a gift for a 6 year old he loved it. I like think it was a great set the price was a great deal. I would buy it again .. The only thing I wish is they had put in something to ship it instead of putting the shipping label on the box.

This set is certainly a lot smaller than I thought it was going to be. For the most part, the dinosaur figures are accurate. However, only half of them can even stand on their own. The feet on most of them are almost warped. They look like someone took them out of the plastic mold too soon. My son is six. The first thing he said when he took them all out was, "What is wrong with their feet?". The only part I thought was okay was the gray fence, but even that is pretty cheaply made. No matter what way I try, it will not keep an actual hexagon shape. That is annoying, because that is what it is supposed to be. There has to be a tiny flaw somewhere in the make of it that I can't find, like one of the pieces is a half of a millimeter off, or something. Low quality toys really bother me, because I don't get things for my son so that I can see the look of disappointment on his face. I get them to see him smile. He is a child who loves all dinosaurs. So, regardless of quality, he is still playing with them. I just really wish they were made better.

My son LOVES dinosaurs and is always looking to add to his collection of figurines. This set of 12 dinosaurs plus fencing is awesome! The dinos are bigger than the minis you typically find; like the ones from excavation eggs. The paint work is surprisingly detailed and the variety of dinos is exciting. My son was thrilled with the assortment and eagerly held each one up, one at a time, to tell me which ones they are. The fencing is such a bonus! The detailing is well done and the sections snap together securely. In anticipation of this set being a huge hit, I went ahead and ordered the expansion set of fencing to be sure he’d have plenty of fencing to work with. He’s pleased as punch and mama looks like a bit of a hero. Thanks, Oriate!

was missing one of the best dinosaurs

Have 2 five year old grandchildren which loves to play with these and 1 six year old grandchild who loves them. Another 6 year old who rather run, jump, dive and ninja his way around the house than play with any toy. So when that one came into the man cave and said we are in trouble I got really scared. He had been their all day and now it was about time for his mom to come get him. He somehow had lost the gate to the set. During his tumbling act he had knocked the pillow on the gate. Once found he quickly disassemble it and put it in the box with the other toys. When his mom came he said Hello mom, I had lots of fun playing with the dinosaurs and I didn't lose the cage.

I originally ordered this set to use when the kids play with kinetic sand, but now they are very interested in dinosaurs and love to create habitats for them. They played with them indoors drawing a world with crayons on cardboard and the next day they used chalk on the patio to draw a world with a big volcano. They like to play with them in the sandbox and in any pile of dirt and rocks they can find. They are a nice size. Big enough to see some details but small enough that they don't take up a lot of space. We have also read several books about dinosaurs. They have had fun learning about herbivores and carnivores and lots of other fun dino stuff. I am happy to find something they love to do that does is not electronic!!

For age 3 and up it sure is little pieces. Bought for a gift. Hope he likes it
