I think this must be the base of a popular cleaner that I have used before for both laundry and some general cleaning. But this is much more effective and with a very shortened pre-treatment time than the usual stuff. So far I am impressed.

Very happy with results when I add this to my laundry detergent and dishwasher. Everything is just brighter. :)

Perfect for towels and socks

I bought this to remove calcium (?) deposits in two toilets - the "hard stuff"sat as a "ring" at the top of the water in the bowl and scrubbing it did no good. I am too old to crawl around shutting off and turning back on water valves (which is the recommended way to attack these deposits), so I made a hard paste of this stuff with water and put it just at the top of the bowl water and left it overnight. All of the mineral deposts were gone in the both toilets the next morning. I will use it for some other similar cleaning needs - it's sort of like granular hydrogen peroxide - but a bit stronger, I think. It seems as effective as oxalic acid - but safer. Either the measuring device was not included in my package or I inadvertently threw it away.

In an attempt to do my part for a healthier environment, I’ve chosen to start using environmental-friendly products. Green bleach (sodium percarbonate) makes a great addition to my cleaning supplies. I’ve added it to my laundry to whiten stained dishcloths and it worked splendidly. They came out whiter than I was ever able to get them with Clorox or Oxy Clean. And they smelled really fresh.
