Lovevery In My Own Bed (Tricky Topics)

The Lovevery books are Fantastic! I loved this book for helping my 2 year old transition into her own bed. I love the real-life pictures and the way in which they write about this transition was helpful for me and my daughter. Big fan!

So helpful for my two year old. The text is simple and easy to understand but touches on several important details (i.e. why we’re transitioning, what that looks like, feelings we might experience, expectations for staying in bed, and strategies for staying in bed and falling back asleep). The lovevery books are like social stories and I am the biggest fan. The photos make the stories realistic and relatable. Something clicked in my son’s head when he saw the photo of mommy and daddy sleeping in their own bed at the same time as the child sleeping in her own bed. Highly recommend!

This book is so wonderful! I absolutely love how this book is from the perspective of the child. The writing is so respectful of what a young child goes through in this transition from crib to bed, and I love how loving and supportive the parents are as well. It is so well- done! The photos of the family in their home are beautiful and engaging, and it is always so interesting for kids to see photos of other kids in picture books. On the back of the book is a QR code that you can scan and listen to a wonderful kid's song about kids moving from a crib to a bed. It is very charming and catchy, and this book is a delight to read. My kids and I love it!

My toddler loved this book and it was great at explaining the process from moving from a crib to a bed. Did not last long before she learned she could get out of her bed on her own though!

This book tells a sweet story about a surprisingly eventful transition in a young kid's life. What we most appreciate about it as parents of two young kids is the ways in which it not only prepares the kids for what is going to happen but also gives us, as parents, ideas about how to facilitate a smooth and easy transition. From the bedtime song to the suggestions about what a kid should do if they wake up, it is a great guide!

Amazing at helping my toddler understand the concept of staying in bed all night!

Not overly wordy a great book with realistic pictures to prepare a toddler between ages 2- 3.5 for a toddler or twin bed and what to expect.
