The best there is now. Stop looking...
An excellent fan actually made of metal! If it was made in USA instead of China it would be perfect! But it's as close to perfect as possible for now. Hopefully soon we can stop building up the Chinese economy and start building up our own with manufacturing in the USA and employing our people again thanks to long needed tariffs on Chinese goods finally leveling the playing field! The fan it replaced was a bigger 20" plastic lasko but this one having a 16" metal blade pushes as much or more air! Much heavier than a plastic pedestal fan but not unwieldy to Move Around. It looks Good And the extra price is easily made up for in observable quality and substance by being metal. It's not just another cheap plastic pedestal fan. The metal blade pushes air better than a plastic one does. I have a big Vornado floor model from the 60s built like a tank that still works great and really moves the air. I know this won't have that longevity but nothing does anymore. I'm happy someone at least still makes a metal house fan. Best one to buy.

Work as good as it looks!
Fan has an amazingly nice "classic" look to it. For it's size it's better than average for moving air and and is pretty quiet while running. The remote controls are really intuitive and really didn't take a lot of time to figure out. The one we are replacing this with will find another place in our house where the noise isn't annoying (garage) to finish out it's existence and when it finally dies it will get replace by another one of these. If you have an old home that deserves appliances with a classic look, this is a must have!

Seems exceptional quality on its price range!
Just returned another fan (different brand) that fell apart as soon as I opened this box, so this was an extra NICE surprise! Sturdy packaging helped parts arrived unbroken (thankfully.) The weight of the stand and pole are exceptional, imo! I've had several fans I've had to duct tape like crazy to make sure they didn't fall over! These are sturdy. Not very hard to put together, either. Took me about a half hour (female, nearly 70, 100 lbs.) I figure if I can do it, most others can too.The instructions are mostly clear, though set in a very SMALL point size. (It would be very helpful if the instructions were larger in size.)So far, the fan is blowing beautifully! I like I don't need to worry about it tipping (though I do worry a bit about my mechanical abilities, lol.)Overall it's a beautiful, high-quality looking fan that I expect to last a good 5, or more, years! We shall see.***, I rated this only four stars because the instructions are so small I had to use a magnifying glass and flashlight, atop my bright house lights.

Great fan!
I just loved the convenience of having a remote with this fan. I previously got a version without the remotes and dreaded having to get up to adjust the fan in the middle of the night. Another plus is the lack of additional noise. It’s very quiet but powerful, perfect for people who can’t sleep with a lot of noise.

Top tier product
This thing is legitimately impressive. It's hefty, well-built, and has a ton of features. It genuinely feels like products used to feel back in the '70s, like it was built to last. It even has a ballast in the base to hold it steady. This is it, this is the fan you are looking for.

Perfect for my living room. Im a big guy and need air movement. Everything is need to use it the remote allows me to turn it on, off, change speed, turn. It's quiet and can be powerful when I need it.

Beautiful.. but missing parts
The media could not be loaded. Alright, let me just say—I am OBSESSED with how this Holmes 16" Copper Digital Metal Stand Fan looks. The Coppertone finish makes it look like it belongs in some fancy old-timey library where rich people sip whiskey and talk about "the economy." It’s got major vintage vibes but with modern features, which I love. The remote control is also a game-changer. I don’t have to move an inch to adjust the speed or oscillation—pure luxury. But, of course, my excitement was immediately tested because—guess what was missing from the brand-new box? The anchor screws that actually hold the fan to the stand. You know, a crucial part of making sure it doesn’t fall over like a sad, expensive paperweight. Returning it would’ve been a pain, so I took matters into my own hands.Cue me standing in Home Depot, trying to explain to the poor employee that I needed “fan screws” without having any clue what size they were. He looked at me like I had three heads before finally just handing me a variety pack and wishing me luck. After some trial and error (and probably concerning my neighbors with my excessive use of profanity), I finally found ones that fit.Once assembled, though? Absolute perfection. It’s quiet, powerful, and looks like something Gatsby himself would’ve owned. If it came with all its parts, it’d be an 11/10. But since I had to go on a screw-hunting adventure, solid 9/10.

Very satisfied with the outcome of this fan.
Bought this fan last April for the Caribbean (very hot there) I must say, it met my expectations. not too clunky, very light weight and the air is quite cold, was surprising. It is quite powerful for its size. I love it. Very quiet.
