Works great
Drilled clean holes in my new poly carb windshield for my golf cart. I drilled using a drill press and fed the bit very slowly. Clean holes, no biting, no cracked polycarb.Highly recommended.

These drill bits work for acrylic.
I tried carefully drilling holes in acrylic panels with regular drill bits and ended up cracking the acrylic at several holes. After buying these drill bits, every hole I've been carefully drilling now are good.

Expensive, but they do work
I’m in the middle of a shower door project at home, and realized I’d need to be careful not to chip my acrylic walls. My search was lengthy, and most sites just said to use a normal bit, but it did not seem like it would work as well as I wanted, and I was worried about the drill walking.I think the internet is scarce on info regarding this, but I finally came across a knowledgeable source that recommended a 60 degree drill tip. Would you believe, this is the only set I could find? Nothing at HD either... amazing. There were single drill bits on Amazon, too, but by the time you bought the two sizes needed for the project, and paid for non-Prime shipping (darn you, Prime, for spoiling me), this set seemed like a good value. I wasn’t expecting a set of drill bits to be this pricey, but today I saw one that is just for a special anchor that ran $27, so what do I know?Still seem expensive, but they did the job. 1/8 inch pilot holes were perfect, no chips. The 5/16 anchor holes, though, did have some chipping, but it was usually at the start, and by the time the hole was drilled to full size, there was none visible. The flutes are deep and clean out easily, and they didn’t walk on me. I drilled slowly with a variable speed power drill, as carefully as I could, and it did the job nicely. I’m not sure I’ll get $41 worth out of using this to drill the sixteen holes or so that will be needed for two showers, but hey, that’s life. I’ll deduct it from what I’m saving in installation (though not in headaches). Special bit for acrylic... I’m guessing the handy guy who was going to do the install for me wouldn’t have bothered, but at least I know I didn’t leave a mess for myself if I change my mind.

Excellent for plexiglas
Did not crack the plexiglas. I used a bit slightly bigger than the screw and did not drill fast and it worked perfect.

Plastic drill set
Works great. I ran them slow and used a smaller size first then moved up to the size I needed. Use a fine water spray to keep the acrylic cool to prevent cracking
