Wonderful kids craft… This was so less messy than the normal concrete and easy for younger kids to use. Our grandchildren loved creating them and putting them in the garden.

I buy these stepping stones for my grand children. Their mother does all the work, as the children are too young to participate, unless she puts their hand or foot prints on them. She also puts the child’s name on them.Cute for her mommy garden. So far, they have held up.

The stones didn't stay on

Simple and easy instructions and a cute kit overall, but very little and thin. Only the size of my hand (barely) and less than an inch thick. Also took way longer to be writeable than the instructions said. We waited an hour after mixing and then soaked up a bunch of the excess moisture with a paper towel cause we needed to not make the whole day about the patio stone 😅 didn’t meet my hopes, but still a cute little thing all the same.

We made these as part of 'grandparent' camp. We had an almost 8 and a 5 year old. It did take adult supervision and help but they turned out great. Not huge like the ones our kids made back in the 90s but ok size. The kids enjoyed creating these.

A sad waste of money. I’ve made plenty of these stepping stones before; they’re fairly easy to make. I followed the instructions to an exact. The instructions say to add 200-240ml of water so I started with 200. I mixed it very well. It was quite watery so I had to let it sit for almost an hour until it was hardened enough to be able to hold an impression. I noticed the water was separating from the wet cement on the top, so I had to mix it back in. After 10 mins or so the water began to separate again. The cement was firm enough to make an impression so I had my children place their hands in it. The water kept rushing into the impression and slowly flattening it out, so we had to keep making the impression several times, and even using toilet paper to gently dab out the water from the top. Once I felt like it was ready to let it dry, we placed it in a high shelf where it wouldn’t be disturbed. After about 6 hours, I go to check on it and discover it had cracked into 4 pieces!! It was completely in disturbed. I suppose it expanded? Anyways, waste of money. I will be returning this product and buying something else from Lowe’s and redoing our project.

I bought this for my daughter's (age 4 & 5) and we had a blast making this. We will definitely be buying more. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow. It is super fun and easy. I am blown away at the finished product and overall quality. This makes a great gift.
